1. Acceptance and scope
By using a PRORESMAT service or, when available, creating an account, booking a service or placing an order through the PRORESMAT digital platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and the applicable information presented before the transaction. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.
The current website is informational. Online booking, purchasing and payment services described in these terms are planned platform functions and are not presently offered through this website.
2. About PRORESMAT
PRORESMAT Herbal Clinic is a Ghanaian traditional healthcare business. It provides or intends to provide traditional healthcare services and is developing a supervised platform to connect clients with verified traditional medicine practitioners and licensed herbal clinics. The platform itself must not be understood as having regulatory approval merely because it provides a verification or connection function. Any applicable licence or certification status will be stated accurately.
3. Services provided directly by PRORESMAT
Where PRORESMAT itself provides a consultation, product or other service, PRORESMAT will identify itself as the provider or seller and remains responsible for its professional and commercial obligations. Service availability, price, format and any specific conditions will be communicated before booking or purchase.
4. Independent practitioners and clinics
The future platform may connect clients with independent practitioners and clinics whose submitted identity, professional registration, licensing or facility information has been reviewed. Verification does not make an independent provider an employee or agent of PRORESMAT and does not guarantee a particular clinical outcome.
Each practitioner or clinic is responsible for maintaining the registrations and licences applicable to its work; providing services within its competence and professional scope; obtaining informed consent; maintaining appropriate records; giving accurate information; and complying with professional, safety and legal duties. PRORESMAT remains responsible for the platform functions and supervisory commitments it expressly undertakes.
5. Appointments and consultations
Appointment availability is subject to provider confirmation. Users must give accurate information, attend at the agreed time and follow reasonable preparation instructions. A practitioner may recommend referral, further assessment or conventional medical care when appropriate. Remote consultations may not be suitable for every condition.
6. Herbal medicines and health products
Products offered through PRORESMAT or the future platform must meet the Ghanaian registration, licensing, labelling, advertising, prescription and distribution requirements applicable to the particular product and seller. A listing must not be interpreted as a statement that every product is “FDA-approved.” Where applicable, PRORESMAT will review evidence of FDA Ghana registration or other required authorisation before listing and will identify the seller.
Users must follow the label and professional instructions, disclose relevant allergies, medicines and health conditions to the treating professional, and report suspected adverse effects promptly. Prescription- or consultation-dependent products may require a valid consultation or authorisation before supply.
7. Prices and payments
Prices and any applicable charges will be shown before a booking or purchase becomes binding. When online payment becomes available, third-party processors such as Paystack may process the transaction under their own terms. A payment is not finally confirmed merely because a user submits payment details; confirmation may depend on successful processor verification and PRORESMAT's transaction record.
Users must not attempt unauthorised, fraudulent, reversed or manipulated payments. PRORESMAT may delay fulfilment while a payment is being verified.
8. Cancellations, refunds and unavailable services
The cancellation window, any permitted cancellation charge and the refund conditions applicable to a particular appointment or service will be clearly communicated before booking when paid booking becomes operational. PRORESMAT will not invent or apply undisclosed conditions.
If a paid service cannot be provided by PRORESMAT or the identified provider, the user will be offered an appropriate remedy, which may include rescheduling, an alternative service accepted by the user, or a refund as applicable. Refund timing may depend on the payment processor and receiving financial institution.
9. Failed and duplicate payments
A failed, abandoned or unverified transaction does not create a right to service or fulfilment unless payment is subsequently confirmed. If transaction records show that the same intended purchase or booking was paid more than once, PRORESMAT will investigate and arrange correction or refund of the confirmed duplicate amount. Users should report suspected duplicates with the transaction reference and should not repeat payment while a successful transaction is still being verified.
10. Product fulfilment, delivery, returns and refunds
Product sales and delivery are not currently live on this website. When introduced, the seller, product price, delivery method, shipping fee, estimated fulfilment information and any geographic limitation will be displayed before purchase.
Return or refund eligibility will depend on the product's condition, safety, hygiene, tamper status, storage requirements, dispensing status, defect or error, and applicable law. Medicines, opened products or products whose integrity or storage cannot be assured may not be suitable for return except where defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise required by law. The applicable terms and procedure will be communicated before purchase; no fixed return period, delivery time or fee is established by this page.
11. User responsibilities and prohibited use
Users must provide accurate and current information, protect their account credentials, use the service lawfully and treat providers and staff respectfully. Users must not:
- impersonate another person or submit false professional, clinical or payment information;
- seek emergency care through non-emergency support channels;
- upload unlawful, malicious or irrelevant material;
- interfere with security, access controls, platform operation or another user's privacy;
- scrape, copy or exploit platform content or personal data without authority; or
- use the platform to sell or promote unverified services or products.
12. Intellectual property
PRORESMAT's name, branding, website and platform content, design and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Users may view and use them for legitimate personal or professional interaction with the service, but may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit them without permission. Practitioners and users retain rights in materials they lawfully submit while granting PRORESMAT the limited permission necessary to operate, secure and administer the relevant service.
13. Privacy and data protection
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable Ghanaian data-protection principles, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Users must respect the confidentiality and privacy of others.
14. Suspension and termination
PRORESMAT may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected fraud or misconduct, address expired or invalid professional credentials, comply with law or regulation, or prevent harm to the platform. Where appropriate and lawful, the affected person will be informed and allowed to respond or correct the issue. Obligations concerning completed transactions, records, privacy, intellectual property, complaints and liability may continue after termination.
15. Complaints and support
Questions or complaints may be sent to benoitnguessan@proresmat.com. When the platform support function becomes operational, it may also issue a reference number for tracking. Users should include relevant booking, order or transaction references but should not send emergency requests or unnecessary sensitive health information by ordinary email.
16. Reasonable limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Ghanaian law, PRORESMAT is not responsible for losses caused solely by events outside its reasonable control, a user's inaccurate information or misuse, or an independent third-party service over which PRORESMAT has no reasonable control. PRORESMAT does not exclude liability for its own fraud, wilful misconduct, professional negligence, breach of an applicable statutory duty, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
For an independent practitioner or clinic, professional responsibility remains with that provider. This does not remove PRORESMAT's responsibility for its own platform administration, representations, payment handling or supervisory actions.
17. Changes to services and terms
PRORESMAT may update these terms as services become operational or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published here. Transaction-specific terms displayed and accepted before a booking or purchase will apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. The parties should first attempt to resolve a complaint directly and in good faith. Any unresolved dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, without limiting any statutory complaint or dispute-resolution right available to a consumer.
